Jungle Fever

Chris promised me last night I was going to get up the same time as him today and WORK. So this morning I was rudely awakened with the covers being ripped off me and a squirt gun to the face, which he totally used! (at 5 am). . . which didn't end until I was out of bed, and out of our bedroom.

This is the project he gave me to do today:

(This is just a portion of our backyard. . . It all looks like this. . .)

Fun huh?! One of the reasons I married Chris is that he is the ONLY guy who will put me in my place and won't let me be (to much of) a princess. Occasionally I have to remind myself that this is what I believed to be an "endearing" quality of his. So, assuming I don't die of severe heat exhaustion and painful prickles in my hands, I will post an after picture.
......................................................................................
I am still not done. . . but here is an update.

That is funny, I can see Andy doing the same thing to me! Our backyard looked close to the same thing, but Andy did go at last Saturday, looking much better now! I weeded the front yard, then I was done. I am a wimp when it comes to the heat!

K, first of all....did Chris help you with this job? I don't believe it if he did....his 'soft' computer hands don't do yard work as far as we knew!!!

Johnna, did you finish Breaking Dawn yet? What did you think? Pretty crazy!

Johnnah, I know those tumble weeds well. I'm trying to conquer my backyard too. In desperation I tried lighting a bunch with lighter fluid and matches, but it just wouldn't take. So I'm back to the "pokeies" too. I wish I could've seen you at the reunion. Take Care, Ashley
