Turkey-fest-week!

Dallas flew into town on Tuesday for Thanksgiving and we thought that it would be fun if we all went out to dinner. So Me and Johnna, Brett and Erica, Dallas, and Ashley all met up for dinner. Whenever we can get the majority of the siblings together we have what we call "Dinner on Tom and Sherrie". Me and Brett still have one of their credit cards (he he he).

This is a funny picture of Itsy. Johnna gets her so much junk. This is her rockin her pink hoodie. We laughed SO HARD when we saw this picture on the back of the camera.

Colorado Weekend

This past weekend Chris and I got to spend the weekend in Colorado with my sister Tami and her family. We had tons of fun hanging out with Tami and Caleb and their four boys. My sister Ashley and a couple of her kids came over one of the nights and we all played Hyper Dash with the kids. It was a really fun/action packed game. We also went out to a cute little town called Estes. It was a beautiful drive! On the way back we stopped at a sweet spot to take their family photos. I would post some of those but I don't want to spoil their Christmas card. As usual Chris and I didn't get any candid pictures of our trip, but here are some my sister sent me.

Guard Dog

The latest and greatest news at our home is. . . we got robbed on Wednesday. After the fact I started to hide anything & everything of value or importance, even just silly things like our mail keys (which I totally forgot where I put them!). You could say I've gone a little overboard with this. Chris came home early yesterday and throughout the day I received countless texts of, "Do you know where _______ is?" After about the fifteenth text that day I was getting some pretty good laughs out of my little hide and seek game. Now I'm going overboard in other, more productive ways. Besides all the top secret security measures we have taken, I have been thinking a Guard Dog would be nice. And considering what happened I think I might actually convince Chris this is a good idea. The only thing is I kinda have to convince myself first. I'm not a BIG dog lover. I just like the little yappers. My question is, can you keep a big dog outside all year round in AZ? Do any of you do this? Is it cruel? At any rate, I'm wondering what you guys think.

Wedding Weekend

This past weekend Chris shot a wedding on Friday and Saturday. YAY for Chris! Saturday's wedding was super fun and extra special because it was our good friends J.C. and Niki's. I can't even tell you how nice it was to go to a wedding where I actually knew some people. Most of the time I go with Chris on his shoots because I am convinced he needs me. . . he just doesn't know it. Lucky me, that was actually true this time. Okay, so maybe not so much with the actual photography part, but still. I was able to do an impromptu hairstyle for Nikki. It was so fun to be a part of her special day and be of use. We are so happy for J.C., Nikki and Kyson! Even more excited that they live so close. Yay for couples dates!

P.S. Have you ever scene an orange watermelon?! They had it at their reception. Very cool.

Happy Post

Chris and I have been sensing the need for a 'Happy Post.' As you can imagine it's taken a lil bit to really get in the 'Happy Post' mood lately. But hello! It must be done. At any rate, here are a few things that have brought Chris and I a bit of joy these days.

I think this picture says what I would like to say without me getting emotional on you guys so we'll just leave it at that.

Pets come and go but our love is forever! I'm soooo grateful for Chris and all that he does for me. I love him TONS and in the grand scheme of things a little more time with just the two of us couldn't hurt. Also, I'm looking at us in that picture wondering what happened to that skinny little bod. So if anyone wants a walking buddy I'd love that.

Paxman Photography is taking off. Woot! Woot!

Well, this one is all me. I love me some Dr. Pepper but laid off all things caffeine while I was pregnant but now that we are in the clear; hello beautiful red can!

A little retail therapy never hurt anyone right? Plus it's got me thinking about Christmas early for once. My house is even decorated already. Chris has even been coming home with lil presents from him, to him. . . . so cute. As long as he waits for Mrs. Clause to bring him an XBOX 360 it's okay in my book.

Simple Acts

Chris and I would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all those who have sent their love and prayers our way. Sometimes the simplest acts can mean the most.
