So before we got married we talked about somethings, one of which was pets. Before we were married I made it clear that I didn't want to have any pets... and Johnna agreed ( but she was crossing her fingers behind her back apparently)
Since then we have had a
and a
and of course
Now the lady of the house is insisting that she needs another puppy... please weigh in on the topic on the poll on the right hand side of our blog and feel free to leave your thoughts as a comment. Thank you.

Prince Charming
Chris and I went to a location with a little pond today for a photo shoot. While we were waiting, I found a little toad. I thought it would be fun to catch it and gross Chris out. He was a tricky little guy but I caught him! To which the toad responded with a surprising amount of urine.

Spoiled
Chris got a new, bigger, better, pixiler camera yesterday (Cannon 5D). . . He seems to have forgotten his birthday was two months ago, MINE is this week. Needless to say he is so stink'n spoiled. Good news is, I must be getting one heck of a b-day gift. Woot! Woot!

Travis Alexander
Recently, a dear friend of mine had his life taken by people/someone. I have been in deep reflection of my own life/mortality and my friend Travis. I would like to share a few memories of him and his influence in my life. Travis was in my singles ward here in Mesa AZ, he was my neighbor and my friend. I went over to his house often to hang, play with his dog and have many deep discussions on various subjects. Travis lived each day to be better for the next. He was a man of service, of great accomplishment and exuded a Christ like love to all those around him. I am truly a better person for knowing Travis Alexander. I am so grateful to have him as a friend! I am a big believer in Christ blessing us through other people being brought into our lives. He is just one example of that in my own; an incredible blessing he is too. Travis, I will never forget you, your legacy, your sweet services to me, kind words, counsel and advice. I hope to be like you someday.
Travis was a awesome motivational speaker and wonderful writer. You can read some excerpts from a book he recently finished at www.travisalexander.net

Funky Fresh Hair
I weaved in a few different colors into my hair Saturday. I was in the "I need a change now!!!" mood. Other than that I have been working my buns off at Hobby Lobby. I have never worked so hard for so little money. I thought it would be a fun summer job that I could blow all my money on with the justification of my in store discount. Lucky for Chris the last thing I want to do after work is shop at Hobby Lobby.

Circus Wall Update
For those of you who remember my disastrous circus striped walls, here is an update.
I made those letters. . . Which is pretty crafty for me.
