Two Years of Wedded Bliss

Chris and I met almost three years ago in singles ward. One Sunday we had a combined Relief Society/Priesthood lesson. I was sitting with my girls and about 3 rows ahead of us sat Chris all by himself. We all naturally began talking about this mysterious, lonely (so I thought), cute guy. I'll be honest, I had never noticed Chris before that Sunday, but after that I started paying attention. I discovered that Chris was paying a bit of attention to me too. He would never talk to me, but I caught him staring at me a number of times in church. I couldn't figure out why this handsome guy was sitting all by himself every Sunday. I felt sorry for him, he looked like he was in bad need of some friends. The next Sunday I decided I would sit next to him in church and ask him to come over to dinner with my room mates and I. I did and he gladly accepted. Later, I learned that Chris was in fact not lonely. He had TONS of friends, he was just apparently too cool for anyone in our singles ward. Lucky for him I didn't know that tidbit of information. . .

Chris before we met:

The rest is pretty much history. . .

We dated.

Fell in Love.

Got Married.

And thankfully now after two years of marriage we are expecting our first baby.

We feel so blessed!

Booties

The other day I found this cute pattern for baby booties. I've made a couple and boy are they EASY and FUN to make, not to mention CHEAP. Needless to say, I don't think our little guy will be going with out some sweet foot apparel when he gets here.

This is just how we roll....

Johnna ordered a baby stroller last week that required some minor assembly...which waited on the living room floor all week for my day off today. We are pretty sure that Skippy is pretty sure that all the new baby stuff is really for him so he was more than willing to try out once I put it together:

hormones

We're really starting to see a pretty wide gamut of emotions from Johnna as she gets more and more prego every minute. 10 minutes ago we were watching "Web Soup" on the E! channel where they show a bunch of funny and or shocking web videos
First watch this video:

and now watch Johnna's reaction to it:

22 Weeks

Here is a shot of me at 22 weeks. We are trucking right along. Our little guy has been checking in with me each day with some good wiggles to let me know everything's okay in there. So considerate of him!
