Walker Reunion

I have returned!! I drove LaDawn and crew home on Monday. I only almost killed everyone once so I'm fairly proud of myself. I really enjoyed seeing my family. We haven't seen each other since I got married last June. It was also a blast to see my extended fam. All my cousins are loaded with kids now. . . and then there was me. . . with none. I was sure to tell Chris that everyone thought he was totally lame for not coming. I also assured him he would not be so lucky next reunion. I missed Chris tons while I was gone, but then when I got home I was bawling my eyes out cuz I missed my family. Hopefully by next reunion Chris and I have kids, and the Hughett's well have mastered the game of Spoons.

High School and EAC buddies....

My mom has been slowly getting all my old stuff out of her house and into mine. Recently she brought me a box of stuff and in that box was a bunch of old pictures from high school and from the year I spent at Eastern Arizona Community College....
Alot of my friends that read this blog and that have known me since then may find that they are in some of these... just thought I would share...let me know what you think.

Road Trip

My sister LaDawn is letting me hitch a ride with her to our family reunion in Utah. Yea!!! I haven't been to visit family in Utah for over four years now. As stoked as I am for family fun, I will really miss Chris. I haven't spent a single day away from him since we have been married. I'm already experiencing some separation anxieties. Chris on the other hand can hardly contain his excitement (says me). He seems to think he will get all sorts of things done while I am gone. . . uh huh. . .

Itzy vs. Puppy

Soooo. . . Call me crazy (Chris does) but I got rid of our puppy, Moze. Now, before you start pointing fingers at Chris, hater of all things canine, you should know this is all on me. I know what you are thinking! Ugly/hairless/blackhead covered/neurotic Itzy vs. adorable/hairy/sweet/puppy breath Moze. But you should be thinking this (as I did), potty trained (for the most part) vs. bladder the size of a kumquat. In the end, Itzy regained her throne as Queen of Johnna's Lap. You see, Moze was put into an intensive potty training workshop for one, two, and yes THREE weeks. At the end of which, he was no further along than the day we began. I've learned a very powerful lesson, well two I guess. One, puppies are pure evil! They make you love them and then they pee on your pulchritudinous carpets. And two, I have absolutely no business potty training a teacup chihuahua.

Love/Hate

Be careful what you wish for cuz you just might get it. . . That's my song these days. This puppy is NUTS!!! For the most part I can deal with that, just so long as he potty trains. Itzy is not a fan of Moze either. She's been doing some very odd things since we got the puppy. Yesterday we left for a half hour and found she had been swimming in our toilet. Chris thinks it was a suicide attempt. Poor girl is just beside herself.

Birthday Jackpot!!

As I am listening to little Moze cry his eyes out because he's in his crate, I thought I would share with you my BIRTHDAY JACKPOT!!! So, Chris kept bugging me about what I wanted and I just couldn't think of a thing at first. . . but sure enough, when it came down to the wire things got outta control.

First and foremost I wanted this.

At that point that's all I could really think of. . . Until this steal of a deal came along.

So, as you can see, Chris is not the only spoiled one. . . in fact, I believe he tripple up'd me if there is such a thing. I sure do love my handsome husband!
