So alot of people have been asking me about my new job since I mentioned my transfer in an earlier blog. I started a new position within the University as an Admissions Evaluator. It sounds a whole lot cooler than that it really is. Basically I make sure that when students start their program they are fully admissible and then determine what transfer credits they will have. The culture is SO different in my new department. It is so quiet and it makes me crazy, but I don't have to deal with the stress of enrollment. I'm still in training and I hope I like this new position.

So yesterday I was straightening some things in the living room and picked up my pistol BB-gun to put it away. I had just recently gotten home from work and I wanted to join my wife on the couch to talk about our days. The dog was sitting on the couch ( as she always does) where I would have liked to have sat. I jokingly pointed the bb-gun at the dog. This action was met with a display of teeth, growling, and fury that I could not believe could originate from such a tiny creature. CRAZY. I was so scared I jumped back and ran to the kitchen ( where I continued to taunt the dog by lining her up in the sight of my lil BBgun. )

We spent New Year's Eve together eating Pei Wei take-out and a Star Wars marathon (well we watched the first two). After that it was a short 3 day work week and my last day at my old job was on Friday. I am going to miss the people that I worked with but I am excited for something new. This morning we met our new primary class, we are now teaching the CTR 5 class! I couldn't believe it but they are even cuter than the 9 year olds we had last year! We went to eat at TGI-Fridays this afternoon for lunch. It is really overcast day today so I forced Johnna to go to park and take pictures. She took this one of me and I was dying to try a new effect that I read about. What do ya think?
